Everyday Eye: MAC Satin Taupe & Vex

This is the look we are going for! :)
So, Let's start! First, I ALWAYS use my Palladio Herbal Eyeshadow Primer. Next, I used NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk and blended it out very well so there was a smooth transition. I just applied this on my lids and blended up to my crease. I also applied MAC Brule onto my brow bone.
After that, I took MAC Satin Taupe on a fluffy brush and applied that where I want my crease to be. I don't have a very defined crease, so I make my own. :)
I take the same fluffy brush and I used Urban Decay's Tease, which was in the Naked 2 palette. I just blended to make sure there wasn't any harsh lines.
After, I applied MAC Vex onto my lid where there wasn't any color. I took the same fluffy brush and blended Vex with Satin Taupe.
Of course, next I applied my typical winged liner. I used Revlon's Colorstay liquid liner for this.
To finish everything off I added two coats of mascara as well as MAC's Naked Lunch in the inner tear duct.

I hope you enjoyed and I hope this gave you some ideas! :)

Day at the Beach

Today I'm stuck inside all day doing homework, but yesterday I went to the beach! It was beautiful, but the tropical storm did do a little damage. Just thought I'd share with you ladies! :)

& Here was my nails of the day- China Glaze "Sea Spray"!

China Glaze On Safari Colleciton

Hellooo, everyone! :)

If you're like me, I'm sure you're excited for the China Glaze "On Safari" Collection. I've been looking out for this forever! I've heard that the official release date is set for July 1st (I'm just secretly waiting for Sally's to have it online). Every time I go into Sally's, the colors I want are always sold out! So, I figured I might as well just buy them online because then I'll be able to find the colors I want without having to go to the store a million times!

Are you ladies looking forward to any of these colors from this collection?!

Almay Pure Blends Eyeshadow "Lavender"

The first few I've bought of these weren't great, but this one is workable. I really like the color, so that's the first great thing about it. The texture is very soft and creamy, yet I don't think it will show up on a normal base. To get the best color out of it, I've been using a white base and the color shows up great. It wasn't chunky as the other ones, neither. Overall, I think this will be the only color I'm keeping from this pure blends collection!
Have any of you tried Almay's Pure Blends Eyeshadows?

My Newly Designed Wall!

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been MIA. I've been working on this! I finally finished last night and I'm absolutely in love with it. I'm waiting to get my new furniture and then I'll so you guys the finished "look". I'll be back doing more reviews soon! :)

e.l.f. Mineral Lip Gloss "Sorority Girl"

I bought this lip gloss thinking it was going to be a lighter nude, but as always it looked a lot lighter on the elf website then in person. I really like how it feels on and the staying power. It's just I feel that the color is too dark for my skin tone when it's on my lips because my lips are quite pigmented. I'll probably end up trying a different color if I can find swatches first! :)

Kmart Deal!

I've just been finding the deals lately! Haha. Anyways, I found a lot of elf Studio things at Kmart for only 83 cents! I only picked up two things because I had most of the other things. But they had Studio eyeshadows, spf lip balms and lip glosses. If you have a Kmart near you, I'd go check it out and see if theirs on clearance!

Great Target Deal!

The past couple weeks I've seen that Target had Macadamia and other products bunch together and sold as two. That means I bought two of these Macadamia Deep Repair Masques for $30! I'd go check out your local Target because they have a lot of products like this 2 for 1! :)

Publix Haul!

I just ran into Publix and looked at their clearance section and look what I found! I bought a Yes to Tomatoes facial wash that was only $4 and a Yes to Cucumbers facial lotion for only $3.79. I'm guessing they are discontinued, but it at least allows me to try their products. I've always wanted to but I've never wanted to spend the $10-15 just to try them. I'll let you know what I think! :)

Saran Wrap Nails

Start with a base color. I used China Glaze's Make Some Noise.

After that is dry, get some saran wrap. You are going to need one little piece for each nail you are doing. Paint on your second color (I used China Glaze Aquadelic) and while it is still wet, dap the piece of saran wrap onto your nails to get the desired effect. Finish with a top coat and you will have something like the bottom picture!

China Glaze's "Coral Star"

China Glaze's "Coral Star" is another one of those China Glaze polishes that I'm not in love with the formula. It's very thin, which I've always had a problem with the thin China Glaze polishes chipping very quickly, even with a good topcoat. I love the color of this, but to me, it's not worth all of the reapplying to have a nice manicure.

Product: China Glaze's "Coral Star"
Price: $4.99
Bottom Line: Leave It!

MAC "Whisper of Gilt" Extra Dimension Skinfinish

Wiithout Flash

With Flash

Whisper of Gilt extra dimension skinfinish was, I'd say, the second most popular color in this collection. Superb was the most popular, but I like I like this one even more! I'm sure by now it would be very hard to find, but if there is one color that you could find, I'd pick this one up. It seems more like a highlight to me and the consistency is a lot better than Superb, in my opinion. I hope they bring this back so everyone gets the chance to see how amazing they are!

Wet n Wild Mega Protein Mascara

Before

After
I've never tried Wet n Wild products and I thought I'd give this a try because it was only $.99 on sale. In the beginning, I liked this product. But now, it doesn't seem to do that much for me and it doesn't hold a curl at all. It is a very wet formula, which I'm not too fond of. Also, the brush on this mascara doesn't really add anything to your lashes. I don't like this product and I probably won't even finish using all of it.

Have you had good experiences with Wet n Wild products?

Price: $1.99
Bottom Line: Leave It!

Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium 1" Straightener

Before Straightening

After Straightening
I've been using this straightener for about a month now and I'm loving it! I always used Chi for as long as I can remember, but their quality has really went down. I actually bought a new Chi and that broke before my old one did! But anyways, my hair stylist used the Babyliss on me and I love it! It makes your hair silky smooth where the Chi didn't do that. I use this everyday and it has not seemed to damage my hair with the use of a heat spray. I usually have my settings on 40-45 and I believe this goes up to 410 degrees. Overall, I think this straightener is the best I've used and depending on how long it lasts, I think it is going to be a repeat purchase.

Product: Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Straightener
Price: Retail- $159.00  Amazon-$89.00
Bottom Line: Buy It!
