China Glaze's "Ingrid"

Let me just start off by saying, I'm so glad Sally's has this in their regular collection now! This color is gorgeous! It's a middle toned brown, but it has A LOT of gold shimmers within it. This has to be one of my colors that I adore and I always reach for if I can't decide what color to wear. This polish stayed on amazing without a top coat, but next time I'm going to use a top coat just to keep things lasting even longer! You guys need to try this color out!

Product: China Glaze's "Ingrid"
Price: $4.99
Bottom Line: Buy It!

China Glaze's "Exceptionally Gifted"

I've worn this color about three times and I have to say, I'm not in love with it. It always ends up chipping after a day or two. I love the color, but I guess the formula isn't the best. It kind of reminds me of the formula of neon polishes, where they are thin and chip very easily. I used a base and top coat with this, and it still chipped like crazy. This is one of those colors that I'm probably never going to reach for again!

Product: China Glaze's "Exceptionally Gifted"
Price: $4.99
Bottom Line: Leave It!

e.l.f. Haul!

I was so excited when I got this in the mail today! I took advantage of e.l.f.'s 10 free mineral eyeshadows with a $25 purchase. I ended up spending about $31 for 20 products! So besides the 10 free mineral eyeshadows, I bought three studio brushes. I absolutely love these and they are SO soft! I also bought three eyeliners, matte lipstick, mascara primer, blush, blush & contour, and a liquid lipstick. I also got a free lip gloss!

I love e.l.f.'s deals! Let me know if you have a great haul from e.l.f. too! :)

Updated: How I Store My Makeup Brushes

Before
After

I've had my brushes like the top picture for a while. I loved the way it looked, but the shells scratched up my brushes. :( I didn't think it would because they aren't sharp. I guess since they are a harder material, it makes for easier scratching.

I decided to get those plastic vase fillers like everyone else has for their brushes. I like this method a lot better, even though it's not as pretty. My brushes slide in and out a lot easier and I don't have to worry about it damaging my brushes. So, if you're looking for a way to store your brushes, I'd choose the second method! :)

China Glaze's "Liquid Leather"

"Liquid Leather" is a creme black color. This is the first time I've ever worn a black nail polish and I love it! I made sure to cut my nails really short, so it didn't look like too much. This is actually the best color I've had with chipping. I didn't have any chips within 3 days of wearing this color. I wore it for a week and you couldn't even tell it was on my nails for a week. This took two coats to get a deep color and it dried really quickly! If you are on the market for a black polish, choose this one!
