e.l.f. Blending Eye Brush

This is my e.l.f. blending eye brush, that I love! The bristles are actually very soft and it doesn't shed much after the first use. I've had this brush for probably a year now and it does a great job. It smooths out harsh lines and defines my eyes. I love it and if this brush ever decides to break, I will definitely buy a new one because they are only a dollar! How could you beat that?! I don't know why someone would buy an expensive brush when this one works great!

Product: e.l.f. Blending Eye Brush
Price: $1.00
Bottom Line: Buy It!

How I Store my Nail Polish & Accessories

First up is my nail polish, of course! :) I got this rack for Christmas from my parents (they bought it off of ebay) & I love it to death! It holds all of my nail polish, for now at least, and it looks very organized. I know I'm going to buy more polish, so in the future I'm probably going to just use this rack for my China Glaze polishes.

Next, is my rhinestones, glitter, & little nail art pieces. I bought these cases from Wal-mart & they were about $6 each. Each of the little round holders is separate from the holder, so you can just take the ones out that you want, which I love about this. I think this is a way better deal then buying it from Sally's or a beauty supply store because just five of the little round holders is $6!

Lastly is all my nail care stuff! I bought this container from Wal-mart for about $5. The top drawer holds nail files and buffers. The middle drawer has nail clippers, brushes, cuticle clippers, and things like that. The last drawer has nail glue, rhinestone glue, and the fake nail that I practice designs on.

Thanks for reading! :)

China Glaze's "Gelato"

CG's "Gelato" is the perfect nude pink! When I bought it, I wasn't expecting to like it that much. It's gorgeous and great for spring! I've been wearing this color for two days now and I haven't had any chipping or fading. The only downside is this color took three coats to get the color in the bottle. It didn't take long to dry, but with more coats I always worry about more chipping. But so far, so good!

Product: China Glaze's "Gelato"
Price: $4.99
Bottom Line: Buy It!

Target & Dollar Tree Haul

I went to Target & Dollar Tree today; I bought a lot of e.l.f. stuff! At the Dollar Tree I bought an eyeshadow brush & a lip gloss both from e.l.f. From Target, I bought the 32 piece eyeshadow collection. I am sooo excited to try these shadows & the packaging it's in is very sleek and nice. I will update with a review once I try these products! :)

Why is my blog "different"?

When I started this blog, I really wanted to just review nail polish and beauty products. As I began writing, I wanted to make each review short & sweet and get straight to the point. I know when reviews are five paragraphs long, I just stop reading and find another review. That's why at the bottom of the review I put the product name, how much it costs, and if you should buy it or leave it. If you want to know the reasons all you have to do is go up to the small paragraph review & read it. Simple as that! Also, I have tried all the products I post about. The nail polishes I review, I actually wear for a week so I can let you know how it wears; I don't just swatch it and take it off.  I appreciate the people that have started following me and I hope that number just keeps growing! Thanks everyone! :)

e.l.f. Studio Single Eyeshadow "Mystic Moss"

This e.l.f. Studio Single Eyeshadow in "Mystic Moss" was a part of my Dollar Tree haul & let me tell you, I love this color! Its a gorgeous green/gray color that has a little bit of a shimmer to it. I put this color on my crease and it really makes my eyes stand out since they are hazel! I would recommend this color to anyone, if it was a dollar or it was three! <3

Product: e.l.f. Studio Single Eyeshadow "Mystic Moss"
Price: $1.00
Bottom Line: Buy It!

Look using "Mystic Moss"!

Chi Iron Guard

I've been using this product for about two years now. I really like it because it does seem to protect my hair when I straighten it. It also makes my hair stay all day without hairspray. The only downside is that it really doesn't smell good and it is really expensive! If the company fixed those two problems, I probably would re-purchase this product. But, once this is gone I'm trying another brand!

Product: Chi Iron Guard
Price: $14.00
Bottom Line: Leave It!

Dollar Store Eyelash Curler

I bought this eyelash curler from the Dollar Tree about six months ago. I love this eyelash curler! Really, why do you need to spend $20 on something that you can get for a dollar & it works the exact same? I don't think I'll ever use a different eyelash curler because this does everything a brand name curler would do! Why not give it a try?!

Product: Dollar Store Eyelash Curler
Price: $1.00
Bottom Line: Buy It!

China Glaze's "Agent Lavender"

I was looking for this color for so long & I finally found it at Publix! This color exceeded my expectations and it is gorgeous, especially for Easter. I've been wearing this polish for about four days now and it has only chipped a little bit on the sides. I am completely in love with this color and this will not be the last time I wear it! :)

Product: CG's "Agent Lavender"
Price: $4.99
Bottom Line: Buy It!

Lubriderm Moisturizer with Sunscreen

I bought this moisturizer for my face because at the time there wasn't many daily moisturizers with SPF 30. I've used this product for about a year and it worked pretty good. The only complaint that I have about this is that it seems to make my face really oily so I stopped using it. I really like that this moisturizer has a broad spectrum SPF, but I'll just stick to using it when I plan to go in the sun. As for my skin care routine, it's no longer a part of it!

Product: Lubriderm Moisturizer with Sunscreen
Price: $6.99
Bottom Line: Leave It!

Publix Haul

I was going "extreme couponing" with my mom at Publix & look what I found! I found China Glaze polishes for only $4.99! I've always wanted "Agent Lavender" but Sally's never had it...but now I have it! I am so excited to paint my nails with it tomorrow. The colors I got are: Agent Lavender and Gelato. I wanted to get more colors, but I was trying to control myself! :P I guess I will be going to Publix for now on to look for colors before I buy them online. :)

Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow

I found this Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow at the Dollar Tree, which was in my Haul. I tried these two colors out & I really like the color on the left. It has a very smooth texture. When you put it on, it's not as purple as it looks in the packaging, it's more of a silver. The shadow on the right is kind of chalky and it doesn't really have good pigmentation. I think I will be using the color on the left a lot more than the one on the right. Since I only paid a dollar for this, I'm not disappointed. I don't think I would've paid anymore for this though.

Product: Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow "Goody Plum Drop"
Price: $1.00
Bottom Line: Buy It! (if it's a dollar) :P

China Glaze's "Cyberspace"

This was the only color I really wanted from the Tronica collection and it didn't disappoint me. "Cyberspace" is a gorgeous nude tone, but it shimmers in the light. I think this will definitely be my go-to color when I can't pick a color I want to wear. A plus about this polish is it dries SUPER fast! I don't know what it is about it, but it dries by the time I get a coat on my other hand. This is one of my favorite colors in my nail polish collection! :)

Product: China Glaze "Cyberspace"
Price: $4.49
Bottom Line: Buy It!

Dollar Tree Haul

I went to the dollar store last night because last time they had those e.l.f. studio eyeshadows. Look what I found! I got three Maybelline eyeshadows that usually retail for $4 each for only $1 and a Sally Hansen lip gloss which is usually about $5. I was so excited when I saw the Maybelline eyeshadows because I was actually about to purchase them at the drugstore. This lip gloss has always been there, but I decided to give it a try today because hey, it's only a dollar. Haha. I will update with a review when I use these products and let you know how they work! :)

e.l.f. Zit Zapper

When I first bought this I really wasn't expecting it to work great. It was only a dollar so I figured why not try it?! Surprisingly, this works really well. I use it every time I start to get a pimple and it goes away a lot quicker then it would otherwise. The only downside of this product is that it will not apply on your face easy because it's a ball applicator. What I do is I rub it on my finger then apply it to my face. It's really not that bad, but I'm sure that gets more bacteria on it, which isn't good.

Product: e.l.f.'s Zit Zapper
Price: $1.00
Bottom Line: Buy It!

Palladio Herbal Eyeshadow Primer

I have to say that this is the BEST eyeshadow primer I have ever tried. The formula is SO creamy and silky it just absorbs into your skin. You can barely tell that it is on your skin, that's why I don't have a swatch for it. I absolutely love this primer. I have oily lids and this product works wonders. My eyeshadow stays put for over 10 hours a day even with humidity! I haven't tried expensive primers like Urban Decay's, but I don't have the need to anymore!

Price: $7.99

China Glaze's "Gamer Glam"

CG's "Gamer Glam" is from their new collection Tronica. I absolutely love this color. (I think I say that about every color I buy) This looks amazing in the sun & inside. The only complaint about this polish is that it seems to chip very easily. I've already had about three of my nails chip and I just painted them two days ago. Other than that, I think this is my favorite color from the collection. I am still excited to try the other two colors I bought & I will do reviews on them as soon as I get to them! :)

Beyond Belief Night Antioxidant Creme

Beyond Belief's Night Antioxidant Creme is amazing! I love the texture of it. It makes my skin feel very soft and moisturized when I wake up in the morning. It seems like it takes a while for my skin to actually absorb this, but it's worth it! I would definitely recommend this night cream to anyone who is looking for one. Another plus is that this smells amazing, just like citrus. I don't know if I am going to repurchase this item though because this is my first night creme I've tried so I want to try different products!

Price: $7.99

e.l.f. Studio Single Eyeshadow "Butter Cream"

I was very excited to try this eyeshadow. But, it turns out that this color isn't the best. I thought this would be a great base color, but when I tried applying it, I could barely see it! The swatch looks great but it definitely doesn't look like that on my eyes. Another downside to this is that it seems very chalky. It just seems kind of dry and hard to blend. I'm glad I found this elsewhere and only paid a dollar for it when it's on their website for three! I am still excited about trying the other two colors I bought from my haul & hopefully they will work better!

Sally's Haul

I went to Sally's today & the China  Glaze polishes were buy two get one free! I decided to get three from the Tronica collection since I pretty much have every other color. The colors I got are: Hologram, Gamer Glam, and Cyberspace. I am SO excited to try these colors and I will do reviews on them once I use them! :)

Olay Revitalizing Eye Gel

Olay's Revitalizing Eye Gel says it's supposed to reduce puffiness, which I have under my eyes. I read a lot of reviews and most of them said this product worked...but I found out otherwise. I've been using this product for about five months now and I haven't seen ANY results.

I like the texture of the gel. It really absorbs into my skin quickly. I just wish this actually worked! I'm not going to repurchase this, I'll look for a different eye cream that claims to reduce puffiness. Until then I'll just use this until it's gone (which will be soon hopefully!)

Product: Olay Revitalizing Eye Gel
Price: $9.49
