Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer

Before product is rubbed into the skin

I've been using this moisturizer for about 6 months everyday now. I have learned to like it, but I think it can be a lot better. The first thing that I noticed about this product is that it had a HUGE smell of sunscreen. I know it's spf 30, but I don't think it should be that strong. It also leaves my skin a little bit oily, as you can see from the third picture. It goes away, but it takes awhile, especially if you want to put on makeup right after applying this. I did not see any noticeable "evening of skin tone or texture" either. I think this product would be good if you wanted a high spf moisturizer, but not if you want the results it promised.

Product: Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer
Price: $14.99
Bottom Line: Leave It!

  1. I used to use Aveeno moisturizers (another one for acne prone skin). My skin seemed to really like it. I figure if all the pricey ones I keep using continue to suck, I will switch back to it.

    1. I've never tried expensive ones, I'm trying new brands from the drugstores at the moment. Hopefully I'll find one that works better! :)
